In the best Bollywood spectacular fashion, this film is a sweeping tale of love, sadness, and song amid the tumult of Indian post-war history. Boota (Gurdas Mann) returns from WWII to discover his small farm in disrepair. Meanwhile, his scheming uncle plots to steal his land.
